"The Perfume Expo" Begins Tomorrow at Kuwait’s International Fairground

     In a collaboration between Kuwait International Fairgrounds and Boutiqaat, one of the largest eCommerce companies across the Middle East, the perfume exhibition re-opens tomorrow for the first time after two years. The exhibition starts Thursday and ends on December 11th.

    The announcement was made during a press conference held the day before yesterday at Promenade Mall, which was attended by Basima Yousef Al-Duhaim, the Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at Kuwait International Fairgrounds, and Abdulwahab Al-Issa, the Co-Founder of Boutiqaat.

    In the beginning, Al-Duhaim said that “In conjunction with the decisions of the Council of Ministers issued to return to a cautious, regular life and the return of exhibitions and conferences, the perfume exhibition returns after more than two years,” explaining that “The exhibition will be held in 6 large temporary halls in the outer squares of the international fairgrounds covering an area of 40,000 square meters”.

    Al-Duhaim added that “The exhibition will include 797 pavilions, in which more than 450 international, regional and local cosmetics companies specialized in Perfumes, Incense and Cosmetics will participate, and they will compete under one roof” from 10 am to 11 pm, and on Friday from 4 pm to 11 pm.

    She explained that “The management of the Kuwait International Fairgrounds has developed several plans for the full return of operational activity within the international exhibition grounds, through constant communication with all government agencies, especially the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health, which we appreciate their effective role and continuing successful cooperation with us regarding handing over the exhibition halls, as it is subject to the completion of the study that the Ministry of Health is currently preparing.”

    In turn, Al-Issa said: "We return to normal life and remember on this occasion the front rows and cadres of the Ministry of Health, which brought us to this day, that returns after an absence of more than two years."Al-Issa added that "upon our belief, as a Boutiqaat company, to strengthen the partnership between the private sector and government companies, the perfume exhibition returns after a long absence in a new and different form, in line with the health conditions in the country, and with a new design to take into account health precautions and the directives of the Council of Ministers."

    He pointed out that "the perfume exhibition is one of the important exhibitions that has proven its commercial and economic role, and more than 450 companies of small and medium enterprises will participate, most of which were stumbling during the period of the Covid pandemic, and the exhibition is an opportunity for them to restore once again their commercial work," adding that "the exhibition is an initiative and support of Boutiqaat and in cooperation with the Kuwait International Fairgrounds, to support this important and vital sector, which has been greatly affected in the past two years."

    He also stated that the exhibition will attract many visitors from Gulf countries, which will enhance the economic cycle in the country, and expressed his keenness to offer something new, expressing the hope for a massive presence at this distinguished exhibition, which will last for more than two weeks.

    Al-Issa also expressed his pride in the participation of Gulf, Arab and international companies, in addition to Kuwaiti companies, in this exhibition.
